I was never one to journal. I remember when doing one of Christy Whitman’s courses that required journaling after meditating each day, I was lucky to write a paragraph, a short paragraph. It just wasn’t happening. That was in the beginning of my meditation journey and it was not easy for me to sit still, so journaling was a struggle.
But, now, I rely on my Wisdom Journal to assist me in releasing old energies and limiting beliefs. Just like that, just by journaling you can release so much baggage. It BLOWS me away! And that is why I really want to share this tool with you. I even hate to call it a tool, it really is more like a best friend. I have released so much lower energy with my Wisdom Journal.
Trust and AllowShe asked us to trust and allow whatever dropped in to be perfect for us, even if it didn’t make any sense. Eventually we will know why we were given the name we get. Well the name that I got was GAIA. Believe it or not, I did not know thatGaia is the name given to the Earth Mother. Mother Earth, what? I thought it popped into my mind because when my Son was 1 1/2 years old, he was telling me something over and over until I understood what he was telling me. He was saying “Gaia comin aepwayne”, he was telling me that his Granny was coming on the airplane. Which is what was happening that day. His Granny was flying to New Jersey from California to visit. So this is what I thought of when Gaia came to mind.
And now I realize that Gaia came to me exactly because she is the Earth Mother and I am sooooooooo drawn to crystals. I’ve have crystals all over my home. I wear them, I have them in my handbag, in my car. I use them to assist me in manifesting. I love the energy that they give. They are a big part of me, no wonder why this is the name that my Subconscious mind asked to be called.
A year ago I would have never even considered becoming a Reiki Master, but here I am, a Reiki Master Teacher. I love working with energy and I love working with crystals to assist me in my energy work. It’s just so perfect. Gaia is the perfect name. And if you have been following my website for a while you know that I trust and follow the guidance that comes to me. I listen to that inner voice and I’m loving where it has lead me and I look forward to wherever it might be taking me.
What I want to really get across, after naming your subconscious mind is to work with yourWisdom Journal. It blows me away how just from writing in this journal I can gain clarity on the things that are going on around me. I write what ever I feel like expressing in my journal. Sometimes I write about good things that are going on. I share my G2L for my Guides and Angels. But, mostly what I have come to use this journal for is assisting me to release energy that is no longer serving me. Even if I don’t know that it is. I write in my journal to allow it to sort itself out.
A great example is how for a few days one week I was not myself. My energy had dipped and I couldn’t figure out why or what was causing it. I also was not having success in releasing it. Even with all I know about how to release energy, it wasn’t happening. I was quite frustrated. But, then I had Karate classes to teach and Coaching Clients to coach and my energy felt good. Those things always send my vibration up high. I figured what ever it was had left.
Then the next day, I had a lot of activity at my house, two puppies, my husband, my son and my cleaning ladies all at once and all needing me for one thing or another. I felt like I was going to explode for no reason. I was either going to start crying or screaming. I had no idea why, it just was.
So, I remembered to use my journal, and I told my Husband that I was going outside on the deck with my journal before I exploded. He was happy to see me go, hehehe. So I went outside and started writing. I started by just writing… I have no idea what is going on, tears are falling on the page as I write this, I don’t know why I can’t clear it or figure it out…. and I just kept writing. I had no idea what I was going to write, but this is where the magic happens. My subconscious mind lead me to exactly where I needed to go. I then wrote about four different things that have occurred at some time in my life. The first thought popped in. I wrote it down, as I wrote I thought, what the heck does this have to do with anything, and then the next thought came.
Before I knew it.
I had written about these four different things. They had no logical connection to each other. But yet, of course they did, I just couldn’t see it. And then I looked up from my journal. WELL, I could not believe how bright and crisp everything looked, I could see the tiniest leaves on the furthest trees in my yard. The colors were so vibrant. I felt way, way, way, bigger than my body, I felt so AWESOME. I actually started singing and dancing around. I couldn’t believe it. It was like night and day. I went from crying for no reason to dancing and singing and feeling so big and bright. It was really a great experience. I am so grateful for this tool, this journal, and the understanding and clearing that it brings.
Best of all, as I write this article I see very clearly why I was feeling so down and had no luck in clearing my energy. It was all a learning experience for me to see the value of the awesome gift of the Wisdom Journal. Now, when I need to sort anything out, I just get a pen and grab my journal. You have got to try it.
Please come back and comment here as to the success you have with your journal, and I would love to hear what name came to you for your subconscious mind. Remember, don’t think about what it could be, just allow it to pop into your mind and trust that you will figure out why the name came to you. And believe me, you will be blown away too!
