You are the breath that fuels your body.
While quieting down, pulling away from the rat race, sitting quietly and breathing you will begin to feel the power within you to access the knowledge of the Universe. That magical power within that I like to refer to as mojo. It’s the good stuff. It’s the place where you can connect to peace. And it is as easy as taking 3 long slow deep breaths in with long slow easy breaths out.
Without disconnecting from all the noise around you it is very hard to really see and know what is needed for you to follow your path and to create your desires. There is so much activity in our lives these days. Even when we think we are quieting down, if you start to look at your environment you will see that there is still so much noise. Unless you take your body and put it in a quiet space and close your eyes and connect to your breath you will find it hard to go within.
It takes spending some time being totally present, totally in the now moment in order to see how much is going on all around you and even consuming you. Once you make the conscious decision to disconnect from the noise and reconnect to your breath and to go within you will easily make it a routine part of your day. You will get hooked on it!
Now, I’m not saying that it’s easy. Oh no, believe me, I even have a hard time some days giving myself the gift of silence. Our lives are so busy. Especially if you live in a big city or a State that is very urban and in constant motion. And especially if you grew up in a home that always had the TV on or the radio or lots of people around constantly. Being in all that activity is your norm.
It’s funny because as I write this I’m hearing my Guides giggling and saying “I hope you really practice what you preach here because we have been trying to get you to sit and develop some groups online to help them to do the very thing you are writing about.”
WOW, it is so cool how things come together. I just wanted to write a quick little thing about connecting to your truth through your breath. And I’m having my own message lighting up to speak to me as clearly I am not taking enough time to do this either. OK, message received.
On that note I will end now with this. I am going to spend time developing some online meditation courses. I offer them in my Healing Center in Tenafly NJ and have thought about taking them online but just haven’t made it happen. I guess now is the time. So, look for some announcements soon (hopefully).
In the meantime, just take a few minutes every day to connect to your breath. Sit for even 5 minutes. Start with 3 deep slow breaths. Then hold the focus of a word like peace or love and think of the abundance of peace and love that you have in your life or even just pretend that you do. Do this for 5 minutes. You will be sending out an energetic signal to the Universe of peace and love or whatever you focus on. The Universe will send you what you focus on. This is a simple manifesting tool. Just being in the energy of what you wish to live. Pretend to live it as you sit for 5 minutes (longer if you can). Let your imagination run wild and enjoy your break from the rest of the world. It will be there when you are done.
